| Generating volumetric models of the heart requires a variety of processing steps from automated image analysis over model fitting up to model storage. To support this process, the CAP has to develop an exchange format for the derived data. This format will be substantial to how objects are annotated, stored and retrieved from the database, and the type of data available for further processing. A document about the requirements for the model design can be found here. Current implementations are using the CAP XML Model and CardiacAnnotation schemas.
